Julia L. (Nappi) DeCarlo

Julia L. DeCarlo of Centre St., Winthrop passed away at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center in Revere on February 14, 2018. She was 89 years old. Born in East Boston she was the beloved daughter of the late Marie (Blasi) and Armando Nappi, Sr..

She was the devoted wife of the late John J. DeCarlo and the loving mother of Robert DeCarlo and his wife Valerie, Debra A. Zinna and her husband Anthony  and Michael DeCarlo and his wife Carol all of Winthrop. Dear sister of Armando Nappi, Jr. and the late John Nappi. Cherished grandmother of Richard, Robert, Christopher, Michael and Danielle. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren and daughter in law Janet DeCarlo-Staples.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
