Anita (Miniscalco) Nargi of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, died at the Eastpointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Chelses on Friday, June 22, after a long illness. She was 83 years old. Born in Boston, she resided in East Boston prior to moving to Winthrop 18 years ago. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a medical secretary at the East Boston Health Center/East Boston Social Center. She was the beloved wife of Generoso Nargi, devoted mother of Paula Black & her husband Bradley of West Roxbury & John Nargi of Winthrop, dear sister of Frank Miniscalco of Andover & Lola Belmonte of CA. Visitation was held at the Ernest P. Caggiano & Son - O' Maley Funeral Home 147 Winthrop St. WINTHROP on Monday commencing at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10:00 AM. .
