Lillian Gregorie

Lillian Gregorie of Bellvale Ave., Malden and formerly of Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital on November 13, 2012 after a brief illness. She was 94 years old. Born in East Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Margarita (LePore) and Emilio Staffieri. A resident of East Boston for several years, she moved to Winthrop and then Malden where she resided for over 23 years. She was employed for many years as a stitcher for Modern Embroidery and was also a member of the Amalgamated Garment Workers Union.

She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Gregorie and the dear sister of the late Christine Tella, Florence Testa, Anthony Staffier and Jenny Zaccaro. She was the loving aunt of Sandra Buonopane and her husband Angelo of Malden, Alfred Tella and his wife Rosemarie of Medford, Ralph Tella and his wife Louise of Marblehead, James Testa and his wife Rosanne of Malden, Ralph Staffier and his wife Susan of Texas, Anthony Staffier of Medford and Ralph Testa and his wife Carol of Florida. Also survived by many loving great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow the mass in Winthrop Cemetery.
