Anthony V. Mastropoll of Golden Drive, Winthrop passed away at the Whidden Hospital in Everett. He was 88 years old. Born in Barnsboro, Pennsylvania, he was the beloved son of the late Rosa (D'Amico) and Michael Mastropoll. A resident of Winthrop for over 57 years, he enlisted in the Navy during Korea, reaching the rank of Radioman Third Class. After his honorable discharge, he went on to work as a laborer in a shoe warehouse.

He was the devoted husband of Marise L. (Boyton) and the loving father of Anthony Mastropoll of Winthrop, Michael Mastropoll and his wife Norma of Texas, Christine Mastropoll of Winthrop, Nicholas Mastropoll and his wife Cindy of Winthrop and Daniel Mastropoll and his wife Denise of North Attleboro. He was the dear brother of the late Ida Civisca, Angeline DiLoretto, Christine Mastropoll and Nicholas Mastropoll. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
