Donald G. Manfra of Russell St., Winthrop passed away at the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital on February 6, 2016. He was 71 years old. Born in Winthrop, he was the beloved son of George Manfra and the late Margaret (Albee). A life long resident of Winthrop, he was the proprietor, along with his son Donald, Jr. of Expert Collision in Salem. He also was the former owner of D and L Auto Body in Winthrop. He was a member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks and a former scoutmaster with the Cub Scouts Troop #78.

He was the devoted husband of Lois (Sammaria) and the loving father of Donald Manfra, Jr., Kevin Manfra and Kelly Tobin all of Winthrop. He was the dear brother of Sandy DiCato of Peabody and George Manfra of Malden. He was also the cherished grandfather of Maria, Brett, Kevin, Jr., Nicholas, Julia and Trista.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral mass will be held in the St. John  the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Please go directly to church. Committal will be private.
