Eleanor L. Lambiase of Willis Ave., Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on August 4, 2016. She was 81 years old. Born in Everett, she was the beloved daughter of the late Amelia (Arricale) and Joseph DiFlumeri. A resident of East Boston for many years, she moved to Winthrop over 59 years ago.

She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony F. Lambiase and the loving mother of Richard A. Lambiase and his wife Rita of Revere and April Lambiase of Winthrop. She was the dear sister of the late Richard DiFlumeri and his wife Ann of Winthrop and the late Albert DiFlumeri. She was the cherished grandmother of Lisa Pellecchia and her wife Kathleen (Dawson) Pellecchia, Anthony Pellecchia and Francesca Lambiase. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
