James M. "Jimmy D" of Court Rd., Winthrop passed away suddenly on January 5, 2018. He was 43 years old. Born in Boston he was the beloved son of the late Susan (Casey) and Steven Marcella. For the past 20 years he was employed as a ramp agent for Delta Airlines. He loved all Boston sports teams and enjoyed traveling.

He was the cherished grandson of Frank Marcella and the dear nephew of Linda Humphries, Peter Casey, Diana Marcella and Donna Gentile. He was the beloved cousin of Heidi Freda, Laura, Nick and Samuel Allhoff, Luke Casey and Kristine Humphries. Loving Godfather of Jordan Washington-Freda. Also survived by many loving cousins, friends and great Auntie Lil.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Committal will be private.
