Giovannina "Jennie" Chiello of Birchwood Ave., Peabody passed away at home on March 10, 2017 after a brief illness. She was 94 years old. Born in Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Santa (Petitto) and Giovanni Fallica. A longtime resident of East Boston, she has resided in Peabody for the last 15 years. For many years she worked as a stitcher in the garment industry.

She was the devoted wife of the late Angelo Chiello and the loving mother of Marie Ferrara and her late husband Anthony M., Jr. of Peabody and Joseph Chiello and his wife Nadine of Tauton. She was the cherished grandmother of Lisa Donovan and her husband Robert, Laura Ferrara, Anthony M. Ferrara, III, Crystal Chiello and Joseph Chiello. She was predeceased by many dear brothers and sister. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow the service in the Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
