Jerry Falbo of Huntington Beach CA, grew up in Winthrop,MA, passed away on June 28, 2016. Cherished father of Nicole Falbo and Samantha Falbo of Huntington Beach, CA. Beloved son of Jerome and Ann Falbo of Winthrop. Beloved brother of Francine (Falbo) Carroll of Stoneham, brother-in-law of Mitch Carroll and devoted uncle of Mitchell and Grace Carroll of Stoneham. He is also survived by his former wife Kelle Falbo of Huntington Beach, CA, step son Kyle VanDerHyde and step daughter Carly VanDerHyde also of Huntington Beach, CA and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Jerome (Jerry) was a graduate of Winthrop High School, where he participated in football, hockey and soccer. He loved all sports and continued playing throughout his life. Jerry was described by friends as a kind person who "wouldn't hurt a fly". Jerry was Treasurer of the Spring Valley Middle School PTO in Huntington Beach, CA. He was described by fellow PTO members and teachers as a warm, kind and helpful person, whether assisting at a school function or helping a teacher with a computer problem. Jerry obtained a A.S. degree in software service and was an IT consultant for the law firm Shook, Hardy and Beacon (Irvine, CA) and Williams Lea. He will be deeply missed by all family, friends and co-workers who loved him. 

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in the Holy Rosary Church, 993 Shirley St., Point Shirley, Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
