Josephine Costanzo of Winthrop St., Winthrop passed away at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire after a brief illness on February 2, 2016. Born in Medford, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mary (Limoli) and John Olivieri. A resident of East Boston and Dorchester, she has resided in Winthrop for over 42 years.

She was the devoted wife of Joseph Costanzo and the loving mother of Francine Mariano and her husband Rich of New Hampshire, Maria DelPapa and her husband Joe of New Hampshire, John Costanzo of Winthrop, Debra Crescente and her husband Anthony of Medford and Joseph Costanzo, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Revere. She was the cherished grandmother of Sean Pappas, Alaina Pappas, Joseph DiRocco, Anthony Crescente, Christopher Costanzo and Darren Costanzo. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was also the dear sister of the late Mario Olivieri.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
