Judith M. Lipsett of Belcher St., Winthrop passed away at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston on June 17, 2017. She was 78 years old. Born in Boston she was the beloved daughter of the late Hilda M. (Dumas) and Paul F. Magee. A life long resident of Winthrop, she was a clerk for the Massachusetts Board of Medicine for many years. She was also a member of the Robert DeLeo Senior Center in Winthrop.

She was the devoted wife of the late Roger S. Lipsett, Sr. and the loving mother of Paula Ronan and her husband Phil of Winthrop, Ginny Caples and her husband Sean of Lexington, Cheryle McCashion and her husband Joseph of East Boston, Dawn Marie Lipsett and her fiance Owen Kane of Winthrop, Roger S. Lipsett, Jr. of Winthrop and Joey Kelly of Winthrop. Dear sister of Paula Trainor of Wakefield, Jerry Magee of Winthrop and the late Frances Ancillo. Cherished grandmother of Eric, Ryan, Brendan, Shawn, Shane, Dylan, John, Trevor, Samantha and Michael.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
