Laurie L. Malveira of Cutler St., Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on April 6, 2016. She was 45 years old. Born in Revere, she was the beloved daughter of Leona (Botchie) and Salvatore Corea. She grew up in Chelsea and moved to Winthrop over 8 years ago. For several years she worked in the real estate market doing property preservation.

She was the devoted wife of Frederick Torres and the loving mother of Stephanie Malveira of Winthrop, Aviva Malveira of New York, Kaycee Corea of Winthrop and James Torres of Winthrop. Dear sister of John Fisher and his wife Michelle of Peabody and Rick Fisher and his wife Patty of South Boston. Loving aunt of Johnna Fisher of Winthrop.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 8:00 PM.
