Lucille T. Scandone of Terrace Ave., Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on April 7, 2017. She was 92 years old. Born in Winthrop, she was the beloved daughter of the late Thelma (Anderson) and Lester Fichtner.

Devoted wife of the late Alphonse Scandone and the loving mother of Lawrence Scandone and his wife Maryellen, Robert Scandone, Linda Scandone and John Scandone all of Winthrop. Dear sister of the late Lester Fichtner and his wife Barbara of Watertown. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Gina.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow the service in Winthrop Cemetery.
