Nancy Personified someone who had Great Reverence for All. While in her presence, it was unavoidable to notice, Her Empathetic Ear, Beautiful Smile and Incredible sense of Humor. I can only image how strong she had to be in dealing with the continued losses of her work family. People who relied on her for Friendship, Companionship and Love. People whose Lives were enriched because she made them feel Special and part of the Winthrop Senior Center Family. Winthrop was fortunate to have such a wonderful person at the Helm of one of the most Special places in Town.
Thanks to Nancy’s Family for sharing her with us. I am sure that her Love for her work exceeded the hours on the door. She will be greeted with open arms by all of those who have gone before her. Her Bake Salers, Square Dancers, Bus Tours Travelers, Kraft Clubers, Veterans, Yoga/ Stretchers, Seniors on the GO, Story and Joke Tellers. I hope her Legacy of Fun continues when I make it to my Golden Year. I don’t want to have to remind the Staff every minute of the day, by saying NANCY NANCY NANCY!!!!!
