Nicholas J. Del Greco of Upland Rd., Winthrop passed away at the Wakefield Care and Rehabilitation Center in Wakefield on July 2, 2016. He was 87 years old. Born in Boston, he was the beloved son of the late Mary (Ferullo) and John Del Greco. A resident of East Boston for many years, he moved to Winthrop over 39 years ago. For many years he worked as a Master Electrician running his own company.
He was the devoted husband of the late Louise M. (Mangan) and the loving father of Joan Terry of Loudon, New Hampshire, Shelly Goulet and her husband Greg of Boxford, Kathy Del Greco of Winthrop and John Del Greco and his wife Karen of Melrose. Cherished grandfather of Carolyn, Julie, Alex, Miles and Griffin.
Family and close friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow the service in St. Michael's Cemetery, Boston.
