Peter Miccichi of Hampton, New Hamshire and formerly of Winthrop passed away at the Hyder Hospice Unit in Dover, New Hampshire on December 3, 2016. He was 65 years old. Born in Boston, he was the beloved son of the late Josephine (D'Angelis) and Peter Miccichi, Sr.. A longtime resident of Winthrop, he enlisted in the Navy after high school and served during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he went on to work as a truck driver for the Boston Herald for over 40 years. He was also a member of the Teamster's Local 225.

He was the devoted husband of Barbara J. (Brown) and the loving father of James Miccichi of Winthrop, Diane McCormick of Newmarket, New Hampshire, Maria Miccichi of Peabody and the late Peter Miccichi, III. He was the dear brother of Kevin Miccichi of Winthrop and Sandra Pepi of Maynard. He was the cherished grandfather of Desmond, Charlotte and Annabelle.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in Winthrop Cemetery.
