We in Winthrop will miss Rev. Richard May. I can recall a few very meaningful public invocations before Veterans and Memorial Day commemorations. I also remember a very good piece he wrote for "The Winthrop Sun Transcript" some years back. It dealt with the Power, Wisdom, and Love of the Holy Spirit. Good guy. He touched a lot of lives. Dick will be missed.

We are very saddened to hear of Pastor May's passing. He fought a valiant battle on earth and Is now at home with his Lord and Savior hearing the words we all long to hear. My deepest sympathies to his loving wife and family. We will all feel this loss, but none more than those who loved him most. You are in our prayers and I know God will give you the strength and grace to get through the days ahead.
