Rita Lambiase passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on July 23, 2017. She was 62 years old. Born in Torino, Italy she was the beloved daughter of the late Andrea and Francesco Bavaro. A resident of Winthrop and Revere for many years she was employed as a waitress working in restaurants and hotels.

She was the devoted wife of Richard Lambiase and the loving mother of Francesca Lambiase. She was the dear sister of Lucia Bavaro and Maria DiLaurie both of Revere.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 8:30 to 9:30 PM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
