Robert L. Levesque of Winthrop St., Winthrop passed away at the Wakefield Center in Wakefield on January 31, 2017. He was 83 years old. Born in Ware, he was the beloved son of the late Irene (Gagnon) and Germaine Levesque. A resident of Winthrop for over 59 years, he worked as an engineer for General Electric for many years. He was a longtime member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks and a former hockey coach with Winthrop Youth Hockey. He loved going to the camp in New Hampshire with family and friends as well as his boat and beloved dog Chere.

He was the devoted husband of the late Lelia "Lee" (Battista) and the loving father of Robert M. Levesque of Winthrop, Joann Vargus of Winthrop, Paul Levesque of New Hampshire, Judy Scott of Florida, Denise Epifania of Winthrop, Karen Levesque of Whitman and Rachele Kakles of Medford. Dear brother of the late Charles Levesque. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Michael, Janelle, Amanda, Jennifer, John, Alyssa, Felicia, Bella, Angelo and Timothy. Great grandfather of Luke.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
