Sean J. Mullane of Shadow Hills, California passed away at home on October 17, 2016. He was 73 years old. Born in Everett, he was the beloved son of the late Rita (Donohoe) and John Mullane. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a school teacher for the Saugus Public Schools.

He was the devoted husband of Jeanne A. (Howard) and the loving father of John Mullane of Clinton, Connecticut, Eileen Truesdale and her husband Michael of California and the late Michael Sean Mullane. Dear brother of Charles Mullane and his longtime companion Diana Sablone and Danny Mullane and his wife Nancy all of Winthrop. Cherished grandfahter of Goldie Jeanne, Sally Beth, Amelia and Kayla. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Malden.
