Allen Bianco

Allen Bianco of Putnam St., Winthrop passed away the the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford on August 23, 2018. He was 94 years old. Born in Winthrop he was the beloved son of the late Helen (Abely) and Alexander Bianco. A life long resident of Winthrop he enlisted in the Navy at an early age serving during WWII. After his honorable discharge he went on to work in maintenance for the MIT athletic department.

He was the devoted husband of Irene (Cartwright) and the loving father of Linda McCormick of Winthrop, Candace Carr of Marblehead, Stephen Bianco of Peabody and David Bianco. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the graveside service in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 12:30 PM.
