Joseph Nargi

G. Joseph Nargi of Somerset Ave., Winthrop passed away at the Heathwood Healthcare in Chestnut Hill on April 9, 2018. He was 93 years old. Born in Boston he was the beloved son of the late Rachel (Coscia) and Marco Nargi. A resident of East Boston for many years he has been a resident of Winthrop for over 24 years. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a machine mechanic for Revere Sugar, Sterling, Clark and Lurton and the East Boston Social Centers.

He was the devoted husband of the late Anita (Miniscalco) and the loving father of Paula Black of West Roxbury and John Nargi of Winthrop. Dear brother of Lorenzo Nargi of Medford, Carmella Tracia of Somerville, Mary Ranese of Revere and the late Salvatore Nargi, Rose Mary Maglio and Benigno Nargi.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral mass in the St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
