Mark D. Surette

Mark D. "Marty" Surette of Billows St., Winthrop passed away at home on July 11, 2019. He was 60 years old. Born in Malden he was the beloved son of Rose E. and the late Sylvane G. Surette. A resident of Winthrop since 1972, he was a 1978 graduate of Winthrop High School and was a member of the 1976 Division 1 State Hockey Championship Team. He was employed as a carpenter for Cataldo Contracting and was a former member of the Winthrop Yacht Club.

He was the devoted husband of Martina (Quilty) and the dear brother of Kevin Surette of Ipswich and Preston Robichaud of Nova Scotia. He was also the loving uncle of April and Nicole.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 7:00 PM. Committal will be private.
