Pasquale J. Marano

Pasquale J. Marano of Upland Rd., Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on February 4, 2019. He was 85 years old. Born in Boston's North End he was the beloved son of the late Alecia (Nigro) and Pasquale Marano. A long time resident of the North End before moving to Winthrop 40 years ago. Before his retirement he was the proprietor of several businesses including restaurants, a car wash and a social club.

He was the devoted husband of Charlotte Santagate-Marano and the loving father of Tammy Deeb of Winthrop. Dear brother of the late Nunzio Marano, Jenny Meiton and Raphael Marano. Cherished grandfather of Bianca, Christina, Robert and Zachary. Great grandfather of Milo.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 8:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 9:00 AM. Committal will be private.
