William P. Edgett

William P. Edgett, Sr. of Underhill St., Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on August 28, 2019. He was 73 years old. Born in Somerville he was the beloved son of the late Dorothy (Geary) and Harold Edgett. He enlisted in the Army at an early age during the Vietnam War and then went on to serve in the Army National Guard. After his honorable discharge he went on to work as a truck driver for Pepsico for over 45 years.

He was the devoted husband of the late Carol A. (Arsenault) and the loving father of Michelle Edgett-Navarro and her husband Ernie, Kathleen Edgett and her partner Eddie Rucker and William P. Edgett, Jr. and his wife Gina all of Winthrop. Dear brother of Maureen Wetmore of New Hampshire and the late Ann Solimine. Cherished grandfather of Taylor, Giana, Genna and Tyler.

Services were private.
