Lucy T. Alabiso

Lucy (Chiochetti) Alabiso, age 91, of Winthrop MA passed away on October 6, 2021. Devoted wife of the late Peter Alabiso, Loving mother of Peter Alabiso and his wife Charlene of Methuen, MA; Jean (Alabiso) Cappo and her husband Mark of Savannah, GA; and Michael Alabiso and his wife Rachel of Winthrop, MA. Beloved grandmother to Steve Alabiso (and his wife Jamie), Kayla Bemis (and her husband Matthew), Jonny Cappo and Michael Alabiso. Sister of the late Vincent Chiochetti and his late wife, Jean of Mantua, OH. Lucy also leaves behind a large extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. 

Those who knew Lucy knew her to be a positive and deeply caring woman. Her devotion to her family and friends was noted by many and her home was always the hub of joyful gatherings not only on the holidays but all throughout the year. 

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
