Muriel J. (VanWart) Colson

Muriel J. Colson of Winthrop and formerly of Revere passed away at the Everett Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Everett on July 14, 2021. She was 85 years old. Born in Winthrop she was the beloved daughter of the late Eva P. (Raynard) and Charles H. VanWart. Prior to her retirement she worked as a switchboard operator for Morgan Stanley.

She was the devoted wife of the late Richard J. Colson and the loving mother of Bradley Boyton and the late Alan VanWart. She was the dear sister of the late Harry VanWart, Frank VanWart, George VanWart and Ernest VanWart. Beloved aunt of Evalie Gray, David VanWart, Christine VanWart all of Winthrop, Richard VanWart of Leicester and the late Robert VanWart. She is also survived by her beloved cat Marshmallow. 

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the graveside service in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
