Ada F. (Welch) Brown

Ada F. Brown of Golden Drive, Winthrop passed away at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen on October 24, 2018. She was 98 years old. Born in Lowell she was the beloved daughter of the late Louise and Frank Welch. A resident of Winthrop for over 25 years she was employed as a cook working in hospital kitchens. She was the loving mother of Deborah McGrail of Windham, New Hampshire and Mary Louise Welch. She was the cherished grandmother of Kelly Trufant, Justin McGrail, Samantha Stewart, Sabrina Kelly and Halle McGrail. Great grandmother of Samuel, Harry, Liam, Christian and Clifford.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Saturday, October 27, 2019 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
