Anne L. (Bonacorso) Roberson

Anne L. Roberson of Charlestown entered into eternal glory on July 5, 2018. She was 91 years old. Born in Boston she was the beloved daughter of the late Ana (Cambria) and Antonio Bonacorso. A resident of Winthrop for many years she also lived in Lynn and Florida. Prior to her retirement she worked as a sales representative in retail stores for several years. She was a member of the Sweet Adeline's, a musical female quartet. She loved theater, appearing in Joey and Maria's Wedding and was also an animal lover.

She was the devoted wife of the late John W. Roberson and the loving mother of Robin Lally and her husband Paul of West Melbourne, Florida, Nancy Alfonso and her husband Frank of Medford, Johanna Carregal and her husband Joseph of Charlestown, William Roberson and his wife Sherry of Lynn and the late John Roberson and his wife Patricia of Methuen. Dear sister of the late Josephine Maggio, Lillian Pirroni, Sylvia Guenard-Costonis, Nancy Iengo, Mary Peluso, Grace Rebsamen, Nunzio Bonacorso, John Bonacorso and Anthony Bonacorso. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
