Charles E. Beattie

Charles E. Beattie, Jr. of Triton Ave., Winthrop passed away at the Winthrop Place on October 5, 2019. He was 88 years old. Born in Brighton he was the beloved son of the late Helen (Robbins) and Charles E. Beattie, Sr. He enlisted in the Army during the Korean war reaching the rank of SFC. After his honorable discharge he went on to work as a travel agent for many years.

He was the dear brother of Patricia Mcgee, Norma Gobiel, Joan Pitts, Brenda Bertino and her husband Joseph and Eugenia Cerulli. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in the Holy Rosary Church, Point Shirley, Winthrop at 12:00 PM. Committal will be private.
