Cheryl A. Cronin of Sewall Ave., Winthrop passed away at the Neville House in Cambridge on June 12, 2017. She was 66 years old. Born in Stoneham, she was the beloved daughter of the late Elaine Forfia (Gilson) and Francis Mitchell. A resident of Winthrop for the past 12 years, she worked as a coordinator for the New England Eye and Tissue bank for over 30 years.

She was the devoted wife of Thomas M. Cronin and the loving mother of Jarrod Cronin of Merrimack, New Hampshire and Lauren Cronin of Chelsea. She was the dear sister of Kenneth Forfia of Williamsburg, Ronald Forfia of Las Vegas, Nevada and the late Michael Forfia. She was also the cherished grandmother of Nathan, Aeden and Madison.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home the same day starting at 5:30 PM.
