Elinor A. (Vitale) Moses

Elinor A. Moses of Shirley St., Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on October 7, 2018. She was 88 years old. Born in East Boston she was the beloved daughter of the late Mary (Barbere) and Michael Vitale. She resided in East Boston before moving to Winthrop over 57 years ago. She was a former member of the Winthrop Emblem Club, the Daughter's of Italy and was a producer for many years at the Winthrop Community Access Channel.

She was the devoted wife of Ronald Moses and the loving mother of Thomas C. Moses of Winthrop and the late Judith J. Moses and her husband Charles Capace of Brookline. She was the dear sister of the late Anthony Vitale, Michael Vitale and Dorothy O'Brien. Sister in law of Mary Vitale of Winthrop. Loving aunt of Mary, Donna, Gregory, Christine, Larry, James, Lauren, Dayna, Mark and the late Jay. Special great aunt of Joseph, Sean, Lexi and Dorothy. Also survived by many loving cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in the Holy Rosary Church 1015 Shirley St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
