Florence Schisler Obituary
Florence M. Schisler of Belcher St., Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on November 5, 2019. She was 86 years old. Born in Winthrop she was the beloved daughter of the late Catherine (McIntyre) and Charles Ballem. A life long resident of Winthrop she was employed as a telephone operator for New England Telephone for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Winthrop Catholic Women's Club, VFW Beachmont and the Winthrop Emblem Club.
She was the loving mother of Joanne Schisler of Winthrop and John Ballem of Billerica. She was the dear sister of Dorothy Bunker of Hopedale and the late Marion, Irene and Rita. Cherished grandmother of Peyton and Greer.
Services and interment in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery were private.
