Francis M. Vatalaro

Francis M. Vatalaro of Atlantic St., Winthrop passed away suddenly on February 27, 2018. He was 62 years old. Born in Boston, he was the beloved son of the late Viola (Principe) and Francis J. Vatalaro. He grew up in East Boston before moving to Winthrop 27 years ago. At the time of his passing he was employed as an auditor for Wells Fargo Bank. He was also a member of the Winthrop Yacht Club and an Eucharistic Minister at St. John the Evangelist Church in Winthrop.

He was the devoted husband of Linda (Miraglia) and the loving father of Michael Vatalaro of Winthrop and Lindsay Sulprizio and her husband Mike of East Boston. He was the dear brother of Kathleen Ruggiero and her husband Richard of Randolph. Cherished grandfather of Violet and Paisley. Brother in law of Kevin and Donna McGuire of Salem. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Committal will be private.
