Jeremiah J. Sullivan of Hillside Ave., Winthrop passed away suddenly at the Whidden Hospital in Everett on October 15, 2017. He was 78 years old. Born in Somerville, he was the beloved son of the late Bridie (Doherty) and Jeremiah Sullivan. A resident of Winthrop for the past 15 years, he previously lived in Somerville and Medford. Prior to his retirement he worked as a salesman for Anheuser-Busch for many years.

He was the devoted husband of Diane (Johnson) and the loving father of Sean Fitzgerald and his wife Tracey of Winthrop. He was the dear brother of Kathleen Ahern and the late Ann Marie Hutchins and John Sullivan. Beloved Papa Sully to Niall and Skylar Blu Fitzgerald. Loving uncle of the late Alison "Ali" Ahern.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation. Committal will be private.
