John E. Benoit of East Boston passed away at the Everett Rehab and Nursing Center on April 24, 2017. He was 76 years old. Born in Boston he was the beloved son of the late Victoria (DiPlacido) and Arthur Benoit. A life long resident of East Boston, he was employed as a licensed builder for many years.

He was the husband of Dorothy L. (Scansaroli) and the dear brother of the late Frank Benoit.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. the funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in the Holy Rosary Church, Point Shirley, Winthrop at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in St. Michael's Cemetery, Boston.
