Mickelina Perrone of Carey Circle, Revere passed away at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett on February 27, 2017. She was 96 years old. Born in East Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Angelina (Cuddi) and Liberato Auriemma. A resident of Winthrop for many years before moving to Revere over 30 years ago. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a hairdresser.

She was the devoted wife of the late Domenic Perrone and Henry J. Basso. She was the loving mother of Nicholas Basso of Winthrop, Angela LeChiara of Saugus and Sandra Mulkern of Rowley. She was the dear sister of the late William Auriemma (her twin brother), John Auriemma, Josephine DiBurro and Helen Auriemma. Cherished grandmother of Cristina, Robert, Amanda and Michael.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
