Nicolena Martignetti

Nicolena Martignetti of the North End of Boston passed away at the North End Rehabilitation Center on November 12, 2018. She was 100 years old. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia she was the beloved daughter of the late Sylvia (Mercandante) and Antonio Martignetti. A long time resident of the North End she was employed as a waitress in an ice cream shop for many years.

She was the devoted wife of the late Vincenzo Martignetti and the loving mother of the late Alberinda Brackett-Lush. She was the cherished grandmother of Noelle and Peter Brackett.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow the mass in Winthrop Cemetery.
