Roger N. Petruccelli

Roger N. Petruccelli of River Rd., Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on April 13, 2019. He was 77 years old. Born in Boston he was the beloved son of the late Rose (Faiella) and Anthony Petruccelli. He resided in East Boston before moving to Winthrop in 1975. He was very proud to be a "Double Eagle" a graduate of both Boston College High School and Boston College where he graduated with a Bachelor's in arts and economics. He went on to work as a systems analyst working with computers. He was a member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks. He also loved college and pro basketball and he enjoyed music, dancing and Fox News.

He was the devoted husband of Mirella (Cellurale) and the loving father of David Petruccelli, Carla Petruccelli-Fay and her late husband Jimmy and Paul Petruccelli all of Winthrop. Dear brother of Richard Petruccelli of East Boston. Cherished grandfather of David, Jr. and Kayla. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral mass in the St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visitation will be private
