Ronald A. Munroe of Lynn, Massachusetts passed away at the Salem Hospital on March 2, 2017. He was 79 years old.

Ronald was born in East Boston, Massachusetts to Joseph and Helen Munroe on December 17, 1938. He worked as a police officer for the City of Boston for over 20 years and received numerous honors, awards and achievements for his service. He also served in the Navy Reserves.

He is survived by his children, Ronald A. Munroe, Jr. and Tracy Fast. His sisters, Mary C. Kielbasinski and Madeline Pergola. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Munroe, his brothers; Hugh, Joseph, William and Paul. His sister Patricia. He is also preceded by his wives Barbara and Linda and his beloved daughter Julie Ann.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 3:00 PM. Committal private.
