Russell D. Pooler of Golden Drive, Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on March 24, 2017. He was 67 years old. Born in Winthrop, he was the beloved son of the late Muriel (Lakin) and Davis Pooler. He was also the step son of the late William Lynch. A life long resident of Winthrop he was previously employed as a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Winthrop Department of Public Works.

He was the dear brother of Donna Hodgkins and her husband Robert of Malden and the loving uncle of Shannon.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery at 1:30 PM. Please use the Oceanview Street entrance of the cemetery closest to the tennis courts.
