Susan M. Flanagan

Susan M. Flanagan of Winthrop, MA passed away peacefully on May 31, 2018 at the age of 55 after a yearlong battle with cancer. Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Clough of Revere, MA. Susan will be forever remembered by her husband, Winthrop Fire Chief Paul Flanagan, her stepfather Albert Clough, her father Neil Ellison, her siblings Lori Hansen, Debra Robertson, Tiffany Snyder and Tyler Ellison, her stepson Andrew Flanagan, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was a giving and caring person in her community, offering friendship to those in need. She also leaves behind her two cherished golden doodles, Ruffles and Jake.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery.
