Timothy J. Foy

Timothy J. Foy of Hermon St., Winthrop passed away at home on June 3, 2019. He was 52 years old. Born in Revere he was the beloved son of Meryle (Williams) and the late Robert Foy. He grew up in Brockton before moving to Winthrop over 25 years ago. He was a graduate of the Southeast Vocational High School and went on to work as a pressman for Kirkwood Printing. He was a member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks and the Beachmont Yacht Club. An avid sports fan, he loved the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins. The thing that meant the most to Tim was playing pick up hockey with the guys, whether it be at the Winthrop or Revere rinks.

He was the devoted husband of Shannon M. (Gallagher) and the dear brother of Susan McLaughlin of Taunton, Robert Foy of Bridgewater and Linda Colecchia of Salem, New Hampshire. He was the beloved son in law of Daniel Gallagher and Carol Gay. He is also survived by his son Timothy Monsini and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Committal will be private.
