Vincent Gennaco Obituary
Vincent "Vinny" Gennaco of Woodside Ave., passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on October 16, 2018. He was 80 years old. Born in East Boston he was the beloved son of the late Pauline (Boncore) and Joseph Gennaco. A resident of Winthrop for over 52 years he was employed as an electrician for many years before becoming the Electrical Inspector for the Town of Winthrop. A position he held at the time of his passing. He was a former member of the National Guard, member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks and the Winthrop Golf Club.
He was the devoted husband of Carol M. (Savino) and the loving father of Joseph Gennaco of Topsfield and the late Steven Gennaco. He is also survived by one brother, one sister, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services and interment were private.
