Albert A. Puopolo
Obituary
Albert A. Puopolo of Winthrop and formerly of Weymouth passed away at home on August 11, 2020. He was 86 years old. Born in Chelsea he was the beloved son of the late Ida (Michela) and Anthony Puopolo. A resident of Winthrop for the past eleven years, he worked as an accountant for the Internal Revenue Service prior to his retirement. He also served in the Army National Guard.
He was the loving father of Anthony Puopolo of Winthrop and Joseph Puopolo and his wife Krystal of Winthrop. Dear brother of the late John Puopolo. Cherished grandfather of Valerie. Loving companion of Joanne Amaral of Duxbury. Her children, Steven Amaral of Bourne, Tammy Nelson of Halifax, Kimberly Duplessis of Mendon and Wayne Amaral of Amesbury and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
