Billie B. (Butt) Farmer

Billie B. Farmer of Golden Drive., Winthrop passed away at the Don Orione Nursing Home in East Boston on February 2, 2020. She was 87 years old. Born in Norfolk, Virginia she was the beloved daughter of the late Ruth A. (Guy) and William P. Butt. A long time resident of Winthrop she was employed as a clerk at the CVS in Winthrop Center. She was a longtime member of the First Church of Winthrop United Methodist and was a member of the Winthrop Playmakers.

She was the devoted wife of the late James Farmer and the loving mother of Helene L. Botzer of Framingham and James W. Farmer and his wife Gail of Barrington, New Hampshire. Dear sister of Joanne Bales of Utah. Cherished grandmother Brian, Jonathan, James and his wife Caitlin and Katherine.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 6:00 PM. Committal will be private.
