Deborah M. (Alexander) Madden

Deborah M. Madden of Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on March 16, 2024. She was 71 years old. Born in Malden, she was the beloved daughter of the late Alice J. (Frazier) and Wesley P. Alexander. A resident of Winthrop for over 48 years, she worked for the Town of Winthrop for many years in the Water Department and the Cemetery Department where she still worked up until her passing.

She was the loving mother of Melissa Currier and her husband Brian of Beverly, Alexander Madden of New Hampshire and Elizabeth Madden of Winthrop. Dear sister of Patricia Alexander of Dorchester. Beloved aunt of Jason Alexander. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Chris, Jake, Ashley, Madison, Andy, Luke and Dylan.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a service in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
