I have thought of you and your parents often over the years even though I had not seen you and your wife since I was 11 at your parents home in MA! God Bless you and may you rest in peace. Nancy Cerulli Leoni, daughter of Dominic G. Cerulli and graddaughter of Thomas and Nancy Cerulli

Garrett, Susanna, Erik, Garret's Mom, and Garrett's brother and family (any anybody else I missed): Our deepest condolances. We once met your father at your old condo, some years ago - and he left a really wonderful, and lasting impression. If there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to call. Moira, Tom and Elana

I was an only child, so my walk through life entitled me to create honorary siblings. One of the best, the most enduring, the most charming was dear Dom, the kind of brother I had hoped to find. He was witty, loving, compassionate, the best of friends. For more than 50 years, we created a bond that nothing, not even death, could diminish. I see him now, with that irresistibly smiling face that so illuminated my life. And I always will. My fondest love to his family, for honoring him and loving him as I did. Don Gold

Dear Garrett and Susanna, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your father sounds like he was a very interesting man, and I can see where your inherent curiosity comes from. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Christine

Dad, thank you for your unwavering love and support and for all you taught me. Your gentle soul, brilliant mind and quick wit made you beloved to all who met you and especially to your family. I am so happy that you got to know your grandson Erik. Giving you a grandson is the only small way I could even start to repay you for all you gave me. I love you and will always miss you but you will be with me until we meet again. Love, Garrett

He was a wonderful father, loyal husband and a brilliant writer. He was also the kindest and gentlest person I've ever met. I will miss everything about him- especially his incredible sense of humor.
