Edwin R. Wilkinson

Edwin R. "Teddy" Wilkinson, Jr. of Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on March 22, 2021. He was 72 years old. Born in Winthrop he was the beloved son of the late Jean M. (Howard) and Edwin R. Wilkinson, Sr. A lifetime resident of Winthrop he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he went on to work as a ramp agent for TWA. He was a member of the Winthrop Yacht Club and enjoyed fishing, skiing, golfing and traveling, especially to Hawaii, and loved hanging with his grandkids.

He was the devoted husband of Gloria Jean (Ferullo) and the loving father of Christopher Wilkinson and his wife Cindy of Michigan. He was the dear brother of Mary Ellen Moran and her husband Stephen of Winthrop, Barbara Cannon and her husband John of Florida, Paula Lemeure and her husband Frank of Lynn and the late Christine Phillips and Richard Wilkinson. Cherished grandfather of Jack, Courtney and Kelsey. Great grandfather of Avery and Brooks.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 6:00 PM. Committal will be private.
