Elaine M. Colarossi of Bradenton, Florida and Winthrop passed away on June 21, 2021. She was 69 years old. Born in Boston she was the beloved daughter of the late Concetta (Savoia) and Robert Colarossi. She grew up in Winthrop and attended the Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Brighton. After her graduation she went on to earn her Undergraduate and Masters at Boston State College. She went on to teach at Boston English High School and then finished her teacher career at the Snowden International School at Copley. She was also the past Boston Teacher's Union Representative.
Elaine was an avid traveler, mahjong player and jewelry beader. She was also a member of the Ponkapoag Women's Golf League.
She leaves behind her Aunts, Jennie Zolla of Bedford, Nancy Savoia of Winthrop, Fran Savoia of Winthrop and her brother Robert Colarossi. She also leaves behind her many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and many loving friends in Florida and Winthrop.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
